Giving is one of the most important topics to discuss as believers seeking to become more like Jesus as it reveals more about our character than almost any other single thing we do. Jesus said, “where your treasure is there your heart is…” (Matt.6:20) and like this widow we must be willing to give our lives for the glory of God!

Our greatest impact upon the culture will come through our giving

 

  • As we come to the close of the year and our Jesus Impact series, we will look at an example of significant giving, since Jesus, who is the Servant-King in Mark, exemplifies what it really means to be a “Significant Giver”

 

  • We must seek to follow the example of this widow who gave in a manner that was significant in God's eyes, yet insignificant in the eyes of men. Our heart's desire must be to give “our all” to the one who gave “His ALL” for us.
