What We Believe

We believe that the most important issue for someone to consider when choosing a church is what the beliefs of the Church are. No issue concerning the bible is too small to consider. Although this list of our beliefs is certainly comprehensive, it is foundational. One of our greatest goals as a church is to represent God correctly. There are too many definitions of God within and outside of the Church, that do not measure up biblically. It is our prayer that you get connected to a biblically sound church that respects, honors and trusts the Word of God as the final authority.

We believe the Word of God is inspired by God Himself, that it is absolute truth and that it should be held as the final authority in the life of every child of God as an individual and in the Church collectively.

We believe in the triune God. That is, one God in whom there are three eternal, distinct, simultaneous persons -- the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. All three are the one God, coeternal, coequal, etc., yet there is only one God, not three gods, and not one person who took three modes, offices, or forms.

We believe that we are saved by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the ONLY way of salvation.

We believe that once a person is born again, through repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, they are to be baptized in water as an external sign and public declaration of what Christ has done within them and their commitment to Him.

We believe that we are a part of the body of Christ and as such we are God's delegates upon the earth through whom His kingdom is continually being established and extended. As children of God, our ultimate goal should be our being fruitful disciples.

We believe that God, by His Spirit and choice, has given gifts unto men for the edification and equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry. Ministry is not the sole duty of the Church leadership, but a privilege for all disciples.

We believe in eternal life with God for all who believe and are born again, as well as eternal damnation (separation from God in Hell) for all who do not believe and reject God's gift and plan of salvation, Jesus Christ.

At Core Faith Church we desire to break down the barriers that have divided the body of Christ for years! We are Christ-centered, multi-culturally minded, and believe that the barriers of racism, denominationalism and economic status can only be destroyed by the love of God flowing to and through His children!
