Kingdom Permeance

Kingdom Permeance

May 29, 2022

Passage: Matthew 13:33-35

Preacher: Bishop Jayson Quiñones

Series: Kingdom Critical

Summary:

We are living in a moment in which pressure around us is testing the faith of confessing followers of Jesus in great ways. The question is, what is permeating your life? The pressure or the Promiser? One of the greatest pressures many are facing is that of financial strain…inflation is hitting every home, how we respond is a reflection of what has been driving our way of living until this point. Do biblical principles of stewardship really permeate your life? Do you really trust God as a faithful provider? Or, have you been mixing in God’s principles, with the pursuits of the world? So, how does this parable of the kingdom address this practical matter? The kingdom of heaven can be compared to leaven, it only takes a little to make major impact!

Detail:

Sermon Points

  1. The kingdom of heaven has the potential to permeate the entirety of our lives: (v.33)
  2. The kingdom of heaven will permeate where there is intentionality and availability: (v.34)
  3. The kingdom of heaven must be guarded from false leaven: (v.35)

The potential of the kingdom is only limited by our surrender to the King

Closing Question

Where do you see a deficiency of God’s influence in your life? Are you willing to trust Him?
