Jesus and Zacchaeus

Jesus and Zacchaeus

Feb 09, 2020

Passage: Luke 19:1-10

Preacher: Pastor Aldo Baños

Series: When Necessary

Summary:

Many of us are guilty of treating others as less than. At times we see people that are dirty or maybe dressed a certain way and think, “I’m going to bury my face in my phone or pretend to be distracted so as not to look at them.” Sometimes we walk away ashamed and think, “that person is made in the image of God—just like me. Maybe I should treat them better.” We are called to make disciples, but in order to do that, people need to first put their faith and trust in Christ and His finished work. For people to put their faith and trust in Christ, they need to hear the gospel, but no one usually wants to hear anything you have to say until you earn the right to say it. That happens when we treat people—even those we may view as undesirables, with dignity, respect and grace. Today, we will see the Master at work.
