The church must regain ground in the area of sexual purity. This is rooted in us recognizing and repenting of our sins in this area and returning to the biblical standards for sexuality, beginning in marriage!

Detail:

We live in a sex crazed culture…sex sells everything…our youth are sexting or being sexted…Internet pornography is easily accessible, as one repot on www.webroot.com titled “Internet pornography by the numbers; a significant threat to society” gives a warning…this leads to a culture that is sex crazed, sexually confused and sexually perverted!
 
The church must regain ground in the area of sexual purity…this is rooted in us recognizing and repenting of our sins in this area and returning to the biblical standards for sexuality, beginning in marriage!!
“According to data taken from Internet users who took part in the General Social Survey for the year 2000, regular church attenders are 26% less likely to look at porn than non-attenders, but those self-identified as “fundamentalists” are 91% more likely to look at porn.”
 
“In 2003, 34% of female readers of Today’s Christian Woman’s online newsletter admitted to intentionally accessing Internet porn.”
 
According to a survey conducted by the Barna Group in the U.S. in 2014: “64% of self-identified Christian men and 15% of self-identified Christian women view pornography at least once a month (compared to 65% of non-Christian men and 30% of non-Christian women).” (all references from: www.covenanteyes.com)
 
Satan has found ground in the church and we MUST rise against the wiles of the wicked one as he seeks to hinder us from being a light and a source of hope and deliverance to our culture…our authority to influence our culture is greatly reduced when we are NOT sanctified in our sexuality!!!
