Apr 11, 2021

Passage: Revelation 1:1-3

Preacher: Bishop Jayson Quiñones

Summary:

There should be no question, we are living in the end-times. Revelation is a book that is specific to the end times. It is an apocalyptic (Poetic-Hyperbole)-prophetic (Speaking to present circumstances and of future events) book, a book that was written to a specific audience, the seven churches of Asia minor, as such there are different positions of interpretation. Not to get into the weeds, but there are generally 4 Views of Revelation: Premillennial View (Futurist) Postmillennial View (Preterist—Mostly Fulfilled 70 A.D.—Christianizing the World until Christ establishes His kingdom) Amillenial View (Idealist—More Heavenly—Primary focus spreading the gospel) Hyper-Preterist View (everything has been fulfilled—not Christian)
